Registration
All participants who wish to attend the scientific
sessions and social events (including accompanying persons) need
to submit a registration form. There will be no formal accompanying
person program, however, a variety of activities, tours, etc.
will be available (on a sign up basis) during registration. These
will include visits to local historic plantation homes, swamp
and bayou tours, tours of historic New Orleans and more. Please
complete the attached registration form and return it with the
indicated fee(s) to the Organizing Secretariat (Crescent City
Consultants). Registration is also available on-line (preferred)
through the web site. Pre-registration is highly encouraged.

The full registrant/student registration fee includes
all conference materials and the scientific and social activities
from the welcome reception to the conference banquet.
The accompanying person registration fee includes
the welcome reception, opening ceremony, continental breakfasts
at the poster sessions, aquarium visit/reception, closing ceremony
and the conference banquet.
Please indicate any dietary restrictions on the
registration form.
Registration and information desk
Please bring verification of payment when registering
in case your registration packet is missing for some reason. Registration
and sign up for non-conference activities, tours, etc. hours are:
Sunday (August 10) from 13.30-18.00.
Monday-Wednesday (August 11-13) from 08.00-17.00.
Payment method
Registration is only valid on receipt of payment
in US dollars. Payment may be made by:
Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Checks
and Money Orders. Banking fees will be charged for processing NSF
checks ($25), International checks and Money orders ($15). A 5%
fee will be charged for all credit card orders. Checks and money
orders should be made payable to WAAVP 2003 and sent to CCC (see
above).
Cancellation and refund policy
Cancellation can only be made in writing to the
Organizing Secretariat (Crescent City Consultants). Refunding
of the registration fee will be made under the following conditions:
Cancellation post-marked on or before May 30,
2003: 75% refund.
Cancellation post-marked between May 31 and June 30, 2003: 50%
refund.
Cancellation post-marked after June 30, 2003 or no notice: no
refund.
If for some reasons beyond the control of the organizers
the conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded
following any deduction that may be made for unavoidable already
incurred expenses.
No refund will be given in case of no-show, late arrival, unused
services, unattended events or early termination of attendance.
All refunds will be processed after the conference.
